Reconstruction of a service building
Service building of the sports center
Pineta fraction of Laives
The new sports center shapes itself around the topography of the Pineta, unfolding across the three existing levels and integrating seamlessly into the slope. The building, embedded in the terrain to the northeast and aligned with the football field to the south, creates continuous indoor and outdoor spaces with pathways that follow the natural landscape. The intermediate level, the public heart of the complex, hosts the restaurant, multifunctional hall, and service areas, opening onto a large outdoor plaza. The roofs become panoramic terraces that connect to the park. The exposed, color-tinted concrete—referencing the porphyry typical of the Adige Valley—reinforces the dialogue with the landscape, forming a permeable architecture that restores balance between the natural environment and community spaces.
