With the expansion into the Provincial Museum for Culture and Regional History, it became necessary to open up the entire castle, including the outer bailey areas, as an exhibition route. The design of the interventions was carried out with respect to the specific conditions of the castle. The most striking intervention was the conversion of the keep, which involved a freestanding steel structure, as well as the access via an external staircase leading to the upper entrance.
