The project envisions the conversion of the Heart of Jesus Institute in Mühlbach into a senior care and nursing home, with a careful adaptation of the historic building to highlight its valuable structure. The existing girls’ residence is planned in a new building, kept low to preserve the ensemble’s silhouette and ensure adequate daylight for the school courtyard. The project aims to create an open urban connection to the village center, promote the integration of care home residents into the community, and foster interactions between young and old through a harmonious public use of the site.
