The Nals winery, located at the foot of the Sirmianer Hügel amidst vineyards and orchards, has developed as an irregular building complex. To merge the Margreid and Nals sites and increase production capacity, a new building for grape reception and vinification was constructed, along with an underground cellar and a barrique cellar in the courtyard, all covered by a wide roof folded like origami. The new reddish-brown concrete buildings harmonize with the local porphyry, while the wooden barrique cellar resembles a large wine crate. In 2017, the visitor areas and the historic Von Campi building were renovated, preserving sustainability, tradition, and innovation.
